About
This introductory training course, 'Forest School Foundations for Adventist Educators', is designed for early childhood teachers within the Southern Union, for the purpose of meeting certification requirements. Participants will discover the benefits of forest school, explore connections between outdoor learning and spiritual development, and become familiar with the priorities of the forest school method. The course offers practical insights into fostering student engagement, creativity, and resilience through hands-on outdoor activities while aligning with Adventist values. By the end of the course, educators will have fulfilled ECE outdoor learning certification requirements. Additionally, they will have the option of continuing on toward becoming a fully trained forest school facilitator. Join us and be a part of nurturing a generation that embraces learning in nature.
